Rosie has been sedated and had xrays done and it really isn’t looking good for her leg. We are trying 6 weeks antibiotics to see if the deformity is caused by a severe infection. The xrays are also being sent to Leehurst (the farm referral unit) to see if they can help her. Hopefully the antibiotics will help the joint and with increased pain relief we can get Rosie happy and comfortable.
Sadly if we can not get on top of her pain management our only option will be putting her to sleep as she isn’t a candidate for amputation due to arthritis in her other limbs.
